The optimal southern exposure of our vineyard in the site Neusatz am Leithagebirge allows the Chardonnay grapes to ripen fully, year after year. The significant warmth of the vineyard site is mitigated by the open access it offers to the west wind. In addition to the cooling effect, the wind causes the grapes to dry quickly after any rainfall, avoiding botrytis and ensuring that the harvest is totally healthy. Thus this robust and extremely limestone-rich soil yields a Chardonnay that offers intense aromas and a distinctive minerality.
Chardonnay Neusatz marries beautifully with seafood, shellfish and pasta.
