1526 the vineyard Dürr have been first mentioned. Reaching to 295 meters of altitude it is one of the highest single-vineyard sites of the Leithagebirge. The altitude of this vineyard and the cool woods surrounding it lend themselves to an extended growing period, allowing the fruit to ripen slowly while developing intense aromas and flavors. On lean shelly marl soil it develops slowly to full ripeness. The key elements of this wine are a marked minerality and finesse.
