– Eichkogel –
In Burgenland, the term “Kogel” is used to denote a “small mountain”. “Eichkogel”, which is not a single vineyard but the name of a blend, has signified Burgenland’s mouthfilling wine style for more than a decade. The grapes for “Eichkogel” are sourced from the calcareous soils stretching on the south- and southeast-facing slopes of the Leithagebirge. Made from Großhöflein’s traditional varieties Blufränkisch and Zweigelt, “Eichkogel” combines the vigor and spiciness of Blaufränkisch with the smoothness of Zweigelt.
Because it’s not only the inner values that count.
