– Vintage 2012 –

The vegetation process in the vintage 2012 inspired hope in us. After the severe late frost on the 18th of May managed to pass us by without inflicting any damage, the grapes were able to develop well from the very start.

Thanks to a long stretch of lovely weather lasting until the beginning of July, the vineyards were ripening well ahead of schedule. The persistent dry weather was first interrupted by rain in July, but in August the summer returned once more and proceeded seamlessly into a dry Indian Summer. The harvest took place mostly in September under the best possible weather conditions. The young wines express combined elements of power and elegance, and the wine lover is certain to enjoy this great vintage’s Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the excellent red wines.ng freuen.
