‘Our name guarantees quality’– one reads this in the Kollwentz Estate’s brochure. It is true, and there’s really nothing more to add.

But it is also modest – as is appropriate when one speaks about himself. The name Kollwentz has stood for a long time for absolute top quality, equally and truly in three sectors: red wine, white wine and sweet wines. Further, the name stands for pioneering achievements, for exemplary work in the vineyards and in the cellar, work that must inevitably lead to wines like those that the Römerhof offers. Compliments for this are owed to father Toni Kollwentz, to the true ‘cellar-master’ Andi, the manager Margarete and the entire family who work with the wines.
