Despite considerable adversity, Andi Kollwentz has faced the current vintage with cheerful equanimity – tasting the various barrel-samples and young wines confirm this.

There will be no cuvée Steinzeiler in 2014, because it was not possible to harvest any top-quality Zweigelt, as well as no Sauvignon Blanc Methusalem. But we can look forward to all of the single-vineyard Chardonnays and Blaufränkisch, and even three extremely fine dessert wines…
