Harvest time

Today we are picking our Sauvignon Blanc in the Ried Steinmühle.

The grapes are ripe and full of spicy aromas. As usual with Sauvignon, there are already some rot-affected berries in the clusters, which must be picked out with great care. Unfortunately, the anticipated volume is extremely small, a result of the late frost at the end of April. ‘Klein und fein’ – small and fine – is the motto for this year’s harvest.
