One would have to search far and wide to find a cellar master and agronomist who knows more than Andi Kollwentz – this goes for the whole world, not just for Austria. And his series of wines this vintage is nothing short of fantastic: Steinmühle Methusalemreben is a Sauvignon Blanc of the utmost excellence, the Chardonnays are ravishingly beautiful, the Pinot Noir ‘Ried Dürr’ perhaps the best in the country, and the Steinzeiler full of balance and composure. Magnificent!
