Four of the five top wines from soils dominated by the Leithakalk came from the group of about 90 classic Chardonnays.
The victory went undisputedly to Andi Kollwentz from Großhöflein for “Von der Rieden”, the not so little brother of the two top layer house Chardonnays called Glora and Tatschler.
