The Falstaff Burgundy Trophy was launched in 2004 together with the Wein Burgenland to set an exclamation mark for the excellent qualities in the field of dry white wines. Burgenland was known for its red wines, but also for the sweet wines. Additionally, the quality of white wines also grew to an unprecedented level.
