Blaufränkisch from Point und Setz

We harvested our best Blaufränkisch – Ried Point & Ried Setz – under summery conditions.

Fully ripened berries, some of them both healthy and shrivelled – but then, some individual grapes within a cluster had suffered from the rain that fell at the beginning of September. This means we must be very selective and discard quite a few berries. Which requires a great deal of effort, and reduces the volume of the BF harvest by one third. But the grape material that made it to our cellar is really tops!
