Sowing the greencover

During the last few days we turned over the old greencover in every other lane between vine rows with a disc harrow, and used the rotary harrow to prepare a fine seedbed.

The rain showed up right on time, just after we were done with the seeding – perfect! According to the type of soil, we introduced three different cover crops: vetch rye, blended clover, and for autumn greenery, oil radish-phacelia-buckwheat.
