Rieden Hike 2018

On Friday, August 31st, we will be doing our hike in the Rieden. We will start exactly at 2:30pm. Registration is necessary.

The hike takes us through the historic Rieden in Großhöflein. From Haussatz, Neusatz, Point, Setz and Tatschler we are walking up to Dürr. From there it is only a short distance, then we have reached our final destination, the Gloria, the highest vineyard in the Leitha Mountains. After the approximately three-hour hike, the Gloria offers an impressive view, from the Neusiedler See in the east over the Wulka Valley to the Forchtenstein Castle in the west. With a small snack, we will taste the current wines from the previously hiked vineyards.
